During our Point in Time Count, we collected data on both sheltered and un-sheltered homeless persons in our 71-county coverage area. As a part of the sheltered count, we are charged with providing an accurate count of homeless persons being housed, but we are also charged with counting the number of beds provided to house the homeless population in our coverage area. This report is referred to as the Housing Inventory Count (HIC).
