East Central Regional Coalition

This meeting will serve as an opportunity for service organizations in East Central Mississippi to gather and explore ideas centered around the establishment of purpose, goals, and objectives for their region.

Coalition Meeting Schedule

All meetings for the East Central Coalition are held every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 10am. Meetings are hosted at Multi-County Community Service Agency (2906 St. Paul Street, Meridian, MS 39301).

Coalition Outreach Teams

The CoC’s East Central Homeless Outreach Team meets monthly to canvassing the homeless community throughout East Central MS. The largest homeless concentration for the region is centered in and around Meridian, MS.

Outreach Team Logistics

  • The team does outreach for approximately 2 hours.
  • Please dress comfortably for outreach. Jeans, boots/sneakers, jacket/coats, and gloves are appropriate attire for the occasion.
  • Please bring all necessary items needed for identification and communication (clipboard, forms, cards, cell phone, etc.).
  • If you are not able to attend the duration of outreach, please come as much as time will allow.

East Central Homeless Connect

homeless-connect-logo-full-grn-02B01B.fwDuring the Point-In-Time Count, the Balance of State partners with advocates of the East Central Homeless Coalition to offer the East Central Homeless Connect to the homeless community in Meridian, MS.

During this event, homeless participants will be able to meet with various agencies serving the homeless population, receive a meal and take a wellness bag full of daily necessity items. Vendors will range from health and wellness, housing, and support services.
