The 2017 Point-In-Time Count is happening all this week January 23rd-27th across the Balance of State. The reference period for the count will be January 23rd @ 12AM until January 24th @ 12AM.
The MS Balance of State CoC wants to adequately supply all volunteers with sufficient resources to have a successful and thorough count. Surveys & forms, links, videos, and other information can be found at muteh.wordpress.com.
Homeless Referral Information
As we begin the 2017 Point-In-Time Count, we want our volunteers to be aware of our Continuum of Care’s processes related to ending of homelessness for special populations. Our network seeks to to insure that homeless programs throughout the state are receiving coordinated referrals to service homeless individuals in multiple situations.
Should you as volunteer encounter persons who have special needs and require immediate attention, the following channels have been designated by the Balance of State for referrals:
- HIV+ persons will be referred to:
