CES Outreach & Engagement Training – January 18th

On Friday, January 18th, our CoC is planning a free, mandatory, one-day training to sharpen agency skills in implementing outreach and engagement related to the CoC Coordinated Entry Systems.

In addition, we will also conduct in-person training for the 2019 Point-In-Time Count, including utilization of the Mobile PIT App, ‘Counting Us’.

Training Information
This training is FREE, MANDATORY for all CoC, ESG, SSVF, and other funded agencies relevant to the Balance of State’s Coordinated Entry System. It will tentatively cover the following topics:
  • Effective Usage of the VI-SPDAT
  • Best Practices in the Implementation of Unsheltered/Sheltered Outreach
  • Strategies for Efficient Diversion
  • Utilizing the Homeless Prevention Tool
  • Training for Using ‘Counting Us’: The Mobile PIT App
